Yummy Chicken Pasta Bake

Hey! Hope everyone's christmas/holiday's were awesome! Sorry I haven't posted lately.  School wrapped up nicely, and the holidays swooped in and I had to get all my shopping done! (I procrastinate, just like many others!)  Along with being busy, we seem to be pushing off grocery shopping as well...We had lots of odds and ends in our pantry, so I called my mother for her expertise on what I should make for dinner.  We came upon this: Chicken Pasta Bake
There are MANY  variations on this recipe, play around with what you prefer and what you like.

Ingredients:  3 Cups of noodles (any you prefer)
1 Can cream of Chicken
1 Can cream of Cheese
1/2 can of milk
2 Large Chicken Breasts
1 Can of corn
4-5 Slices of American Cheese
Optional: Shredded Cheese
13X9 Pan

Note:  The second can of cream soup is up to you on what you use, you need to have at least one can of Cream of chicken and the second one can either be Cream of chicken with mushroom (what I used), cream of cheese, or another cream of chicken, ect.
My boyfriend loves cheese, and that is why I used shredded cheese to sprinkle on top, and left it optional for cheese lovers!

Directions:  1) Slice Chicken Breasts into bite size pieces and fry in pan until done
PREHEAT OVEN TO 375!
2) While doing this, make the noodles as directed
3) In one bowl, combine the cans of soup with the milk--using a whisk to cream everything together
4) Combine can of corn into mixture
5) Slice Cheese into bite size chunks (for easy melting)

6) Add to mixture and stir together

7)  Spray non-stick spray in 13x9 pan
8) Pour mixture into the pan
9) Place chicken and then the drained noodles into the pan (Make sure this is done last, its harder to mix and place evenly without this done).

10) Bake for 40 minutes
***Note: I placed two more pieces of American Cheese sliced on top along with some finely shredded cheese before placing in oven.

ENJOY

yummy (:

HAVE A GOOD NEW YEARS EVERYONE

Holiday Nail Tutorial

I am so sorry I have not made a post in such a long time. The Christmas season has been crazy for me. I work in retail so it gets a little crazy. I was also doing a thing called vlogmas on youtube where I vlogged everyday till christmas on MY VLOG CHANNEL . It was fun but a little stressful. I didn't realize how much time it would take up. I am also on vacation so I have been spending a lot of time with family, but I thought I would take a moment to give you this Holiday nail tutorial! I know it's after Christmas now but if you are going to any belated parties this will be really cute or just an idea for next year! I hope you enjoy.

I hope you all had a great Christmas!   Love, Jenny

A little about Kate

Hey Guys!
So I just wanted to start off by writing a little bit about myself so you can see where I come from.
Im 19. I moved out of my parents house this past summer and moved in with my boyfriend in the city. I love it.  I couldn't be more happier.  Im a personal banking representative at a local bank in the area.  I'm in my second year of college and it's going pretty well! I'm on a college budget, but I LOVE to shop, bake, and cook.  I run my own Avon Business and have been doing so for a little over a year now.  (: My link is on my blogger profile.
I started this blog with Jenny because we both love the same things-crafts, makeup, food, and design! (what girl doesn't though?!).
I'm hoping to get some support through my readers and see where this blog can go.
We will be posting things on how to save, design, cook, and lots of other awesome things.

I look forward to having our readers grow with us in the future.

Talk to you soon!

Monday Yumday: Easy Stuffed Shells

Hey Guys! Today, I was lucky enough to get a day off (and my boyfriend did too!).  I was able to put together a nice yummy dinner for us.  This recipe is EASY, I love cooking and have cooked many things but this by far is one of the easiest ones!
YUM!

You need just a few simple ingredients!
12 oz Jumbo Shells (1 box usually)
26 oz total of spaghetti sauce
35 meatballs (my bag has 66 about)
2 cups of mozzarella cheese
13X9 Pan
A sheet of Aluminum Foil

My sauce actually only had 24 oz and it turned out just fine!

Directions
1) Cook the pasta as directed
How I did it: Im on a college budget, so I don't have a huge pan yet.  I used two smaller sized pots to boil the full box of shells, it was much easier to stir that way.
2) Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
3) Drain and rinse in cold water
A few of my shells ended up breaking--I used those as testers.
There were a lot more shells than I thought! Had more than enough

4) Thaw out your meatballs(35) as directed in microwave
5) Spray down the 13X9 pan with cooking spray and place
1/2 cup of the spaghetti sauce on bottom of pan

6) Put one meatball in each shell and place in pan
What I did: I started doing it nicely in rows but after the pan was filled,
I stuck them wherever I could which was easier than it seems.
7) Pour remaining sauce over the top of the shells. Use spatula to spread out

Yummy!
                               8) Sprinkle the cheese on top and place in oven for 30 minutes after
placing aluminum foil over the top of the pan
9) After the 30 minutes, the cheese won't be completely melted yet
Remove the foil and place back in the oven until cheese is fully melted
(Mine was 5-6 minutes)
                                          10) Leave sit for just a few to let everything settle
                                                                              ENJOY
                        Hope everyone's Monday was great!
                        Talk to you later,
                                                   Kate
